Little Bird

This is an a capella cover Leah Wilmoth (heard here and here) recorded on my laptop. It's a cover of a traditional folk song, as performed by Jewel.

She sure can sing. I think (and this is only an expression of my own musical taste and not a criticism of her style) she could take advantage of the fact that she sings so well to use less vibrato. I'm a big fan of vibrato, but it sometimes can come across as needlessly 'dramatic' and great, great emotion can still be conveyed without it. This girl is a master at it, for example. I know the styles are very different, but the point still applies.

That's what I thought after giving it a couple of listens. That and that I'd definitely like to hear more songs with her on them.
