Let It Snow

This is as close to the original melody as I could get while in a minor key. Imagine being on a holiday getaway where everything goes terribly because of the weather.

This might be my favorite challenge entry so far (and they are all so good!). I didn't know any of the other words to this song; they're kind of nice.

This really sounds great! I love the tasty chords you're picking. I keep hearing Layne Staley inspired "haunted" harmonies in my head.

Yeah, this is pretty swell. I like the sweet aching in your voice.

I like the radio or TV in the room behind you.
Sounds completely opposite to the lyrics to me, like you're singing this in a tiny room in Havana or something.
Someone made a post about proper environments for recording music or something like that, a long time ago; advocating the dead room: a soundproof vacuum.
And this is precisely the reason I disagree...the room adds so much to the song.
But I'm ranting.

yeah choco. My latest "big idea" is to record an entire album on my porch which looks out onto one of the busiest streets in Chicago.

Happy accidents abound.
