Polyplay

A Capella with a twist. I stitched three melodies together and messed with the stereo settings.

Santa swung past m-audio and hooked me up with a microphone and USB interface. The interface box came with a sound editor program called session and I've been meaning to try it out since I got it open.

The tune is one of those things I catch myself humming when no one is around (or when they are around and I decide I don't care.) I stopped editing when Session had memory leaked to the point of freezing every time I tried to play back the composition.

I quite like this. At first I thought of the clicks (presumably at the beginning or end of each sound file you're repeating) as bugs, but in the end they became features. Nice use of the stereo field and I enjoyed how your voice kind of runs out of air when singing that longish note.
