Everyone Here Wants You (To Go)

Track 1 of our four-track demo EP. I shall be posting more in the future if this gets any kind of reception...

All four demos were done over two weekends by myself and my best friend and bandmate, with nothing but my laptop, some software, and lots of guitars. It's my first real attempt at a proper home recording, so would love to hear your feedback.

This is a lot of fun. It's at its best, in my opinion, when the second vocals come in... and what I actually wanted to hear was another, higher voice with those two. In fact, I was wanting the harmonizing to come in earlier, and gradually build.

I also think an organ-y style keyboard could provide a nice atmospheric tone... I think the only thing this song is lacking (except perhaps more drums) is some background tone.

Great job. The end riff will probably be stuck in my head. Definitely post more!
