Riff

A little acoustic riff I recorded a little bit ago, I want to add it to a song. A little rough around the edges I know! Just bought this recording hardware and I have been testing it out.

Very cool. What recording hardware did you get? I don't have anything, but I'd like to be able to make a decent recording of acoustic guitar.

I'm curious too, pwally, that was a pretty crisp recording-nice. This thing.
It's about $35. USD. It's what I use 'cause I'm a cheap bastard, but it's still very usefull.

Oops, this is what I use, but I got it at Best Buy or something for around $30.

Oh, man, that is an absolute BLAST to jam to in A mixolydian. :-) I'm gonna loop it and work on my mixo chops. Thanks!

persona non grata thanks for reminding me what scale I was doing I learned it from my guitar teacher a while ago and remembered the notes but forgot the name! Danb I bought the "M-Audio Fast Track recording interface" which lets me record my guitar and a mic at the same time. It's a hundred bucks but I haven't regretted spending the extra money at all. A couple summers ago I spent all my money on a Martin DC-16RGTE which will make anyone sound ten times better than they actually are. Also I used the open source recording software Audacity which is alot of fun to play around with. Thanks for the feedback (no pun intended) sorry that was too easy.

I've been enjoying fooling around to this for some time now. If you like mixo mode go listen to some Grateful Dead (no kidding, Jerry was mixo-mad and very good and prolific in that mode: the flat seven chord). If you can find a track called "Scarlet Begonias" it is a step up from your jam (literally: it is in B). Thanks again!
