I really like these sounds. I think the vocal samples could be replaced with something less literal. The inflection of the vocals is very fitting and I think they could be translated to more homogeneous sounds to make this a really spectacular piece.

You should submit this for the soundtrack of the next Shrek movie - although the vocal might frighten small children (certainly gave me the creeps). Cool!

Thanks, all. It surprised me that the 'secret chord' that Leonard Cohen describes can be interpreted as almost identical to the main riff of the soundtrack of 2001.
