Chill-elujah

June 23, 2009 1:15 PM

I basically put the words to Hallelujah to an acoustic chill rock guitar thing. and this happened.

I wish i had a studio to record in, this is straight into my macbook pro and garageband, one take.

movin' to the country
gonna eat a lotta peaches

That's what I thought of, anyway.
Nice contribution!
Welcome to music.
And you had me checking my headphones and making sure I didn't have mute on before I read your comment, which I'm sure most other people will do also.

the suspense almost killed me.

this takes me back to a simpler time, when all a person needed was their voice, a guitar, and one take.

So are you using an audio interface? You got good sound if not. No fan noise. It does sound a bit distant.

I am so used to hearing it done soulfully. To my ears this doesn't sound like parody, so I get confused. It's totally my damage though.

That's the first thing I thought of too until the vocals kicked in. And hey, you don't need no steenkeeng studio, this sounds pretty darn good.
