Love You Next Monday

I butchered a bumper sticker and pasted "Love You Next Monday" On my acoustic. Tonite there were a bunch of people drinking and making noise outside in my parking lot. I got bored and made this tune to drown out the noise. Headsets are a wonderful thing.

It's missing--REALLY NEEDS--a bilstering harmonica break in the middle. Otherwise, perfect. I get a real Elvis Costello + Roy Orbison + Robyn Hitchcock vibe. So good.

Thanks I'm going to evolve this some more. I have a friend that plays a tele and he likes the tune and is working on some lead parts for me as I am just a rhythm player. Also I thought I heard some Bowie vocal tones coming through Big Bowie head I am. I'm to re sing some parts and refine the Boo ops.

Also I live in a bad area of town I'm held back by making noise that gets me noticed to the takers. I'm moving to Chelsea Mi soon Ill have a basement and its home of Jeff Daniels of Dumb and Dumber and he lives there I hope to meet him he is a player also besides all the other stuff he does. His poop scene is the funniest thing I think I ever watched.

I know how you feel, as far as being held back on making noise. My problem is just crotchety downstairs neighbours, but still...

I didn't really get a Bowie vibe on the lyrics...well, maybe a bit of his more introspective stuff, or something he might cover live.

I really learned how to sing by listening to Bowie so I guess I hear him in all my work because I love his stuff so much. My first album I ever paid for with my own money was David Bowie Imagines. Its was his early early stuff before Ziggy. I was about 12 then and I thought I was buying Ziggy more so than what it turned out to be but I love Imagines even more now.
