Living Room Internal Mic Dub Soundsystem!
OK, so it's not so much in the style of "dub". But it is the first time I've incorporated myself playing live instruments (then sampling myself and re-mixing), which I can't actually do. I used an alto melodica and a harmonica (by inhaling through it because I think it's built for the wrong key) filtered through Garageband's "hard saw" effect, and a $5 bamboo flute with some echo on it, all through internal mic. Also, I don't currently have a looping/sequencing program so that's all done by "copy/paste", "insert silence", and "mix paste" in Soundstudio. Oh, and a sample of Buff Love from the Fat Boys doing his thing like only he can.

Dude, for something done with copying and pasting, this is pretty great. I'm impressed you got the levels to balance...

It's actually pretty easy to "eye out" your levels when cutting and "mix pasting" in a program like Soundstudio that displays the "wave" on the screen. You know, when you're only dealing with 4 tracks.
But yeah, me and cut/paste go way back. That's where I'm a viking.
