Grace's Song

July 31, 2009 2:54 PM

It is so cool to make whipped cream with a whisk instead of an electric mixer.

My friend Grace taught me many things. She and I love to bake, and she showed me how satisfying it was to whip cream by hand.
as an aside, i fail at garageband, and so there are 26 seconds of silence at the beginning. does anyone know how to cut out silence without scooting the tracks around (when i tried to adjust them, i couldn't line the harmonies up with the melody, etc.)?

the lyrics to this are,

empower yourself. make whipping cream with a whisk,
you don't have to use electricity.

Beautiful! A slice of life and a lesson learned, all in a simple song.

But 'by hand' could mean whisk or beater, and there's a big difference. I would also love to know how to get rid of silence at the beginning of GarageBand projects, if anyone else cares to chime in?

This is a beautiful little composition and I love how you toss your voice up and down with seeming abandon. This is great and I hope to hear more from you!
