...the bossa nova version
Simply slapped together, and originally meant to serve as the base/reference track for a collaboration with another two MeFites. (pssst, collaborators, if you still want to do this, or any other song, I'd still love to trade tracks!) I was encouraged to post this in its raw state by one of them.
I'm not using a pick anymore -- I've given it up! It started to feel like I was wearing a raincoat in the shower. So this was also an exercise for me in finger-picking. I sang the reference vocal track while thinking of Chet Baker; I pretended I had something very fragile inside my mouth.

Hah, originally, I'd suggested it be in Portuguese, hoping umbu would/could take on the task of translation. He replied that maybe it was best to keep it in English, heh.
