You're so melodic lately. I really like it.
At first I thought you were going in a Shins kind of direction but the mando and minimalism of the arrangement steered it away from that. Great vocals on this one.

we've been having so much fun with these new songs--just getting together with a few acoustic instruments and playing live to tape. it's a nice change of pace from sitting at my computer all night, doing takes one track at a time.

hopefully we'll be able to give these latest tracks the full studio treatment, too, soon. there's about six or seven songs we've been playing around with in total right now, but I might dig into the back catalog for more.
