Lady Ghostess Von Frost

February 19, 2010 3:31 PM

Symphonic Ghosttronica. Fragments of melody frozen in time, clouds of harmonic backdrop moves in the aether.

Not sure if I should call it "Lady Ghostess Von Frost" or just "Ghostess Von Frost".

This reminds me of Thomas Dolby's Gate To The Mind's Eye and Enigma's Cross of Change and even some Deep Forest. It has a journeying, soundtrack-kind of sound to it.

How was it made? What's the story?

I think you're better off to make the story yourself.. thanks for the compliments!

Thanks, gmm, but I meant what's the story about the technical making of the track. The equipment, what the process was, what your thoughts were about the sound.

Oh, sorry! I did a production notes, not so much technical (its all on a laptop) but some of it, and how the track was developed, at my website (available from profile)

This is cool. I'm trying to learn a bit of how to make this kind of thing too.

So how about it, gmm, how about detailing the production process since you have a interested audience? Ears wide open, what did you use to put this together? What were your intentions?
