Banks of the Ohio

DMelanogaster and I try the traditional music challenge. Banks of the Ohio is the story of Willie killing his proposal-rejecting lover. (see also Knoxville Girl)

You know, the simple, unadorned and artifice-free delivery here is reminiscent of the Carter Family, which is particularly appropriate, I'd say, for this material. Nicely done, y'all!

Oh that Willie. Always murdering people.
Love the natural feel here; the sound of the room is great and the singing is top-notch.
I'm only getting the right side of the recording, though.

Yeah. We're not that skilled with the recording software yet. There's only a right side to it.

I've looked at Live from both sides now
from left and right
and still somehow
it's Live's right channel I recall
I really don't know Live at all
