Inspired by this post, I've put together a doom metal-ish arrangement of Badalamenti's piece.
After watching that video I had the song stuck in my head for several days, so I plugged a guitar into Garageband and did it.

I learned a long time ago to try to stop trying to write like something that was David Lynch like, despite how much his work sometimes inspires me to do so. (Seriously, my Twin Peaks inspired short stories written when I was 14 are best left to history's burning barrel; as if Bobby Briggs kept a diary anyway?) But listening to this makes me want to create the thing for which this is the soundtrack.
In other words, thanks and well done. Also, neat.
