Song 3 - Driving Reprise

A track I'm working on for a concept EP. Worked on it instead of going to compsci lecture today. Crazy resonators. Way more rhythmic than anything I've done in a while.
Heavily influenced by Robert Henke's interview on CDM and the Monolake track "Terminal."
OK, I kind of did steal the drums from it.

Then again, if it fits the concept of your concept EP then it might be perfect...

I may add that if I choose to make this song more than the ambient track that it is. The other two tracks developed for the EP are in a similar style.
The lack of melody does mean there isn't that much that makes this song exactly "memorable." I may try to develop that idea less through melody or a lead, but by developing the groove a little more.

Nice track. The percussion seems a bit disjointed (not rhythmically, but melodically), at least thru headphones. Almost too artificial, at least when heard next to some of the sweeter, fatter synth sounds you've got.
All in all an enjoyable experience! It can be hard getting people to listen to ambient tracks, where the payoff is buried somewhere deep in the temporal landscape. Don't let that discourage you. You've got some real emotion running thru this track, even without an overt melody.
