Track six from my new album, Inchoatery. A 5/4 instrumental follow-up to Drunk Again. Theremin solo!

Yeah, another nice one. I'm enjoying this album in "serialized" fashion on MeFiMu before I download the whole coherent inchoatery.

I don't know if I've ever heard a piano and banjo song before, but listening to this one, I'm thinking I haven't. They work well together, don't they.
Bloody hell, there's the theremin, that's brilliant.
Xylophone, theremin, piano, banjo, drums. Your living room is the kinda place where I'll be reborn if I am good in this life.

Yeah, I feel like I should try to use banjo more for non-folk stuff in general. (I should probably use it more for folks stuff too, but, well, yes.) I tend to be happily surprised how it sounds when it gets thrown into an unexpected mix, especially since a lot of fullness from a collection of instruments can take some of the edge off the sort of plucky, loudmouthed feeling it can have in isolation.

This one is really great. My favorite off this album so far -- such a nice feeling to it. The theremin is pretty great, but the piano and banjo are awesome. Super!
