Some nasty noise, integrating samples composed from segments of executable files, spectral synthesis, and other bad sounding stuff.

Awesome. How did you get the executables to read as audio data?

Easy. Cool Edit (aka Adobe Audition) lets you do this - just drag an .exe (or .jpg or .txt or whatever you want, but uncompressed stuff works best because compressed data just sounds like noise) into the Cool Edit window and it will ask you what bit depth / sample rate you want to import at. Experiment with the settings until it sounds interesting. You need to do a DC-bias adjust filter to the wave file as well, usually.
