Pin Drop

A quick manic shuffle in D minor. This song was written around the same time as "Hole In My Mood" but a little bit later when I was in the early stages of an acute manic episode. The lyrics are quite telling (I was sort of writing it to myself). And the 13 or so different chords in the chorus and the fancy finger work should have been a warning. I ended up on a locked ward about six weeks after writing this one.

Very nice! I'm manic-depressive too, so I definitely identify with this one. Plus, that's a brilliant guitar line.

The changes in this are really good and I dig the voicings. Well done.

I'm getting a Jim Morrison and the Doors, "People are Strange" vibe off of this. Good stuff.

That's because the bum-bad-dum-dum-dum part is the same sequence of notes from said song.
