The Shadows classic - number one on the day I was born and given a lo-fi acoustic treatment, rather unsuccessfully

I don't get what's unsuccessful here. This is a nice, moody take on the original.

I especially like the spare percussion and the vocals that come in around 2:26.

There are a couple of weird pops here and there but I assume you could take care of those if you felt like it.

many thanks Karlos, yes it was dashed off in about two hours with nothing but an acoustic, so the ragged nature of the loops etc. gave it a few erm... idiosyncracies ;-) First time I'd posted here (on the advice of Peterkins), and I'm really impressed by the generosity of spirit and the amazing imagination on display.
I may even do it again!

I'm with Karlos - not seeing the 'failure' here. Which is to say that I really liked this; I think the slow-ish pace and airy sounds make it really engaging. Loved the creepy zombie-Indian voice at the end, too.

Well done.
