Na Na, Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye) [Steam cover]

May 31, 2010 1:37 PM

If, at a meetup, bondcliff hadn't pointed out this month's music challenge to me, I might have covered this song eventually anyway.
But since it's this month's challenge, and since bondcliff and I were born on the same day/month/year (same city and same first and middle name, too), I decided, hey, why not do a nutty, rushed job on it instead so that it actually means something.

Instruments used: voice, aluminum baseball bat on radiator.

Excellent, Mr. on_display!

This is an appropriate song as our birthday was the day of the Altamont Rolling Stones concert that is often considered to be the official end of the sixties.

I'm sorry we ended all the fun.

Yeah, it took me a long time to realize that Gimme Shelter was the day we were born. Damn, I should have done that song. I'd do a much better version, I promise. Much better than this? No. Much better than the Stones? RIGHT FUCKIN' ON.
