iTunes will do it if you don't want to download a specific conversion application.

I don't know what platform you're on, but if you're on Windows or Linux, I've had stupendous results with a nice little free program called WinFF. chococat is quite correct that iTunes will do this, but if you don't have it installed already and don't want the hassle, or if you wouldn't mind having a good utility for this around in the future, you may want to give WinFF a try.

The thing about WinFF is that it will convert anything to anything. Almost all sound and video formats are supported, and you can convert across any of them (video to sound, sound to video, etc) pretty simply. It's just a small GUI that has a list of files to be converted (pretty sure you can drag and drop files there) and a place to select formats at the bottom. If you want to get all technical, you can, as it offers full options (frequency, bitrate, etc); but you don't need to, since you can just pick formats and click the convert button if you want to.

Ya, and likewise there are scores of Mac applications that will do it too, drag'n'drop kind of things, if that's your platform.

Thanks all - I'm on a PC but it sounds like the WinFF thing will do the job. Cheers.
