Come Summer

Another track from my hometaping album.

This track sounds far better on headphones than it does through speakers - I should learn to mix with speakers, but, alas, the writing and mixing process was contained into one three or four-hour session in which I just didn't leave my room, so perfection be damned.

Just downloaded it, really solid. Sounds great on my laptop speakers (all I have right now). Very intimate recording, not to get all cheezy, but I seriously love it.

Thanks guys! I'm glad this track worked out all right, it was certainly the biggest challenge of the hometaping thing, just having multiple guitars, pianos, drums, etc., going at the same time and sounding all right.

Corduroy: it's mostly just 'let's start a band' fodder right now. If the time ever comes to go whole-hog on music ventures, I've got some ideas but for right now, bedroom recording is the kind of craziness I like.
I've just got to upgrade from garageband already
