Bad Santa

An original composition by our own Tommy Scheurich, and another experiment in instant festivity.
The sleighbells were tracked ahead of time (because there were five parts for four players), but everything else was recorded together, live. There were actual notes written down for this, though only in the Contrabassoon and Bari Sax parts. The long note on which the trumpet and accordion enter is the last written note, and it continues from there. It is written that the trumpet should have the last note, and there's an explicitly mentioned Jingle Bells motif throughout the contra and bari, after the last written note.
INSTRUMENTATION:
Timbill Corder (me) - Trumpet
Trey Beauregard (man vs sun) - Baritone Sax
Melissa Burcham (pheatherwait) - Accordion
Tommy Scheurich - Sleighbells, Contrabassoon

Largely thanks to the contrabassoon. A grumpier, more bumbling instrument there is not.
