Steam Powered Aereoplane (John Hartford)

My first post here! This is an attempt of John Hartford's great tune. I used GarageBand for bass and backup guitar, the rest is me -- two tracks guitar, mandolin, and double tracked voice. Hope you like it!

If we were ever to be in someone's living room together while you played this, I would most likely jump up and hug you with a bit of a tear in my eye. Anyone who plays Hartford songs are ok by me. Also, the mandolin sounds nice. Thank you.

Thanks psylosyren! I don't do much more on mando than strum chords... otherwise there'd be a mando solo on the track. Really should have some banjo on there too!

Hey, welcome aboard! This is really sweet. For the bass not being you, it has a nice natural bump to it and man, everything else sounds great too! (Yea, some banjo would be nice but this is really good just as it is!)

I like mandolin that is blended in to the background, like it's one crazy guitar-mandolin instrument (you should definitely make it a crazy guitar-mandolin-banjo hybrid). This is really nice to listen to. Welcome!
