This is a chopped up awful tv show. 53 points if you can figure out what the show is. This is a solo piece, BTW.

sorry, I watch maybe two american tv shows and live in the UK. i really don't know.
what's the effects chain for this? some of the swirling reminds me of delay -> old zoom 505 pedal on the step setting -> delay, but there's probably other ways to get the same effect

Effects chain...Umm. I cheated a bit and used some effects in my DAW. I don't normally do that but I had an idea and didn't want to setup anything in my space.
Ok.
This took a while to get set right and I actually saved the file AFTER exporting the mp3 and AFTER I had screwed up the settings, so this might be a bit off.
On the track:
Chopped up large bits of the TV show "Glee"
Delay Designer-->Echo-->Stereo spreader-->Autofilter--Adaptive Limiter
On the master bus
Compressor->Adaptive Limiter->Bit cruser->GoldVerb(?)->Clip distortion->Tape Delay
Some automation of some variables.

I like doing terrible things to source material I hate. I once made a techno remix + video of a Ron Jeremy hermaphrodite porn that I couldn't stand to listen to or watch.
