This is pretty marvellous. Work on it a bit more, get some airplay, and set yourself up for life.

I like this very much. It's one of my favourite carols anyway; I love its minor-key exhortation to be merry OR ELSE. It's definitely the only Christmas carol I can think of that mentions Satan.
Anyway. I like your version a lot, especially the vocals.

Thanks! I think that a loud, rock style works for this because there's a weird tension in the chorus with a seventh chord under the word "comfort." It gives the song a little built in irony.
