Revenge

October 13, 2006 10:07 PM

This song is for an old friend, a guy named Todd. He came up with this revenge scheme, see, and that's what this song is. It kind of collapses at the end. I'd fix it, but I find it sorta cute. Baffling lyrics within.

you'll find yourself trapped in a basement
slowly filling up with mayonaise
and the only way out is to lick the toes upon the wall

sliding down a chute
into a small duodecahedral room
with doorknobs in the middle of each wall

then when you finally escape
you know you'll have to face
Nemesis the Clown

emerging into what appears
to be the end of a great
coctail party

he'll pile drive you
directly through
14 banquet tables

Damn ... just "dodecahedral", really.

I spent the first half of the song looking around for the cat. Our cat is pretty quiet and if she's meowing it usually means there's a problem.

Sorta cute? This song is cats-wearing-hats cute! I really like it. The lyrics alone are great as well.

Goodness, you've made me blush. Awwwww, thanks, bobobox. (And, winston, I hope your kitty's ok. Mine, and her name's Nikki, just meows at me when she wants me to talk to her.)

Jazz (the cat) is fine. It's just that Nikki's voice sounds alot like Jazz.

winston man, I didn't notice the cat in the song until now, I just thought your comment was a weeeeeeeeird way of saying you had liked the second half of the song better. Funny thing that happened, aye?

Great Big Mulp, great song. I really like how the ukulele goes with the electronic bits. You have a fan here.

Very interesting. I quite like it, you should explore the sound some more. It has been a while since I have heard some intersting electronica (though admittedly mostly due to my having dispaired of looking for a few years now).

Y'know, I, too, forgot entirely about the meowing in the song. Boy, do I feel quite the twit. Ha!
