Subterranean Homesick Alien

In the six months they were together, Roddy's O-Face went through three bassists, the last of whom insisted on being called "The Colonel" at all times. This was a song about the town they were all going to high school in.

The whole name thing was kind of a point of vexation, but given that he was the first of their bassists to actually (a) own his own bass and (b) know how to play it, Ned and Tom pretty much ran with it. He was surprisingly intolerant of KFC jokes, which the other guys ran into the ground as a kind of revenge.

Ha! I love the fake-out at the top. This whole thing is as ridiculous as what we're doing with the album, and, annoyingly, taking less time. Well done, you may continue.

Fantastic, Roddys O-Face are brilliant, unashamedly punk and raw. So glad you have done this, and loving the backstory(s) too.
