Well, here it is. I just couldn't pull off any of the ideas I had to make my cover unique, but I really didn't want to fail the challenge completely. So here's my crappy, iPad recorded version of the tune.
You can't tell from this tune, but I've actually played and sung for about 18 years. I hadn't picked up my instrument in about 10 months thanks to depression, so even though this offering is feeble, I am grateful to the challenge for providing the incentive to get back on the horse. For a minute there, I lost myself.

This is great; it's really awesome to hear this with such an assertive, confident vocal. Sounds great.

Yeah, I really like this. Dead simple and minimal is a nice contrast in its own right to the lush feel of the album track, and your guitar and vox are both just great here.
Glad you've rehorsed, I've always thought that was sort of the most useful basic thing about the Challenge stuff.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I was on a down cycle when I posted this, so it's dripping with qualifiers and stuff. Blech. It's fine, and now I get a whole month to do another!
