I am pleased by the (contempt is not probably the right word, uh) willingness to disregard portions of the original melody line in in service of a sound that fits your voice. The familiar-but-not feel's neat in a slightly jarring way.

especially digging those synth blurps at :28 onward.

I really like that I can't quite pinpoint a year for this track.. could be 90s, could be more recent... nice work.

Love it! Especially the rough, noisy feel of the drums and general synthiness. As a relative n00b around these parts I was also quite surprised to find out why the vocals sounded so much like Brad Sucks. Good cover!
