Instrumental rock I recorded a while ago.
Tried to build this one up from quiet to all out but it's probably not as subtle and smooth as I would have liked. Great fun though.

Sure, I probably do but I'm not sure which ones.
I remember reading an interview with Peter Buck of REM in the late 80's where he said "I could write a 'Driver 8' every night of the week!" and I thought, well, why don't you!? It's one of the best songs you've done!
But now I realise that driver 8 to me and driver 8 to him probably represented different things. So, I had have to analyse this and think about what I have that's similar and what elements you might be picking up on as I might something is particularly similar but you might not.
That reminds me of a conversation I had the other day where my friend was trying to be clever and attempting to blow my mind (unfortunately with dribble he probably heard on the radio or cocktail conversation or somewhere) and he said, "How do we know what I taste is what you taste?" I say something taste a certain way and you agree but actually we have no way to correlate our taste references!", to which I replied, "Well, yeah, I'm sure there's a slight variation in all our taste buds but overall, we all like sugar, we all make the same face when tasting a lemon, and spicy foods cause a certain sensation no matter who you are."
He kind of frowned and said something like, I didn't think about that.
In any case, I only write about 10-15 songs a year and so I will eventually upload my entire catalog here. So I'll let you be the judge.

Superb. Really like this; the combination of crisp, bright bass strings and reversed loops was brilliant. Looking forward to hearing more.
