So-so Sonata
September 22, 2014 6:13 AM
Instrumental piano piece.
Submitting this as part of the Monthly Music Challenge, because this month I have been digitizing old cassettes, and this seems like it fits the bill of theme song. The original recording was haltingly played and germinal, so this is a composition that sat unfinished for a few decades, even more fitting as a theme for September and heading into fall.
Note for keyboard enthusiasts: I did the final run using the "- octave" button on the keyboard. Had to practice that a few times.

Some very crushing cadences. I like it more than a lot.

Thank you for the comments. It was 'new to my ears' and one thing that made me want to work it up was the little variations of the simple theme I came up with.
