Sam Gamgee's song in the tower of Cirith Ungol. Words by JRR Tolkien, melody by Stephen Oliver.
Stephen Oliver, who died tragically young, composed the music for the 1981 BBC radio version of "The Lord of the Rings." I really liked his setting of this song, sung on the original soundtrack by a very young Bill Nighy.
Recorded in my kitchen with GarageBand and a Blue Snowball mic.

Fabulous! Can't wait to hear it.
(Has there been a Tolkien-inspired Mefi Music challenge? I think it would be fun.)
