Mefi Cover Challenge

In case there's anybody who follows Music Talk but not MetaTalk, Greg Nog has laid down a challenge there, to wit: "Please record a cover of a song that you only know about because it was in a post on metafilter." (See the link for more info.)

No crosspost to music challenge? Where the last one seems to be from 2015? As for me, no covers come to mind that fit the bill.
