An original song, just written and performed on the ukulele, recorded on my cell phone.

Oh, tying into this month's music challenge... Angela Webber wrote a piece about Art Under Fascism: Overcoming Hopelessness and Making Something, Because it Matters, and I wanted to meet that challenge, but I found it hard to write anything that didn't immediately descend into "we're all gonna die." Eventually I decided to just go with it and make that struggle into the song.

Also I had a conversation with a friend a couple weeks ago involving songs without words, which are common in the Orthodox Jewish culture I hail from. That may have played a role in the chorus.

Simple song: gets a a little not so simple, nu? But It's a fun chorus anyway, and overall a fun song. Good shabbos.

Not that anybody cares, but I now have another rendition up with better sound quality and slightly revised lyrics.
