Early Warning System

I can't really sing but every once in a while I forget that and try anyways...

my Heart is content.
at times we spoke in riddles then,
but I think you knew what I meant,
or at least I'd like that,
then I could think that we connected just for a moment.

bad times for the troubled,
they can see their future,
it's never going to be alright.
bad times for the troubled,
the way it's looking, it's never going to be okay.

The part towards the end is great, with the tones kinda reminiscent of NIN's Hurt plus the second guitar underneath it all.

Thanks. Yeah, the end was more improv and so probably had a better emotional/dynamic impact. I'm a bit lazy and tend towards looping my stuff when I can get away with it otherwise.

I love the lazy, draggy phrasing of your lyrics at the beginning. But during the chorus parts, you really hit your stride musically, not only compositionally and production-wise, but moreover your voice gets a lot more confident and strong. The noise at the end is a good punctuation mark. Nicely done!
