This was the perfect one-take song; it came together like magic and I didn't even have clipping problems when I mixed it. If only they could all be so cooperative. Hohner-Gruhn guitar, Audio-Technica microphone, and GarageBand.

crap, did I just mix you up with litlnemo? (the guitar thing) Ha, I guess that's a compliment to both of you!

I really love your voice in this song. Great that it was in one take. What kind of AT mic is it? I have a 3525 that actually sounds pretty good on acoustic guitars.

nice! are you using an audio interface or is that a usb mic? it has to be a condenser though, cause if not you did some nice tweaking in garageband.
The vocals sound wonderful.

Thanks, all! It was run through a Line6 TonePort II interface. The mic is an Audio-Technica MB 3k, which is (I'm pretty sure) not a condensor. The presets in GarageBand are pretty amazing. They make it so easy.

you're right about the presets in GarageBand. They really are fantastic and you did a great job with it for sure. The great thing with GB is that it's only a click or two away from the more advanced features too (eq, filters, etc).
