Songfighters: help me get my submission in!

December 3, 2017 1:00 AM

So after several years not submitting to, my daughter contributed to a song late last week and I submitted it a few days early. Unfortunately, they are having email troubles and haven't received any submissions, and asked submitters to post a song link in the forum...which I can't do because my forum account is currently disabled. Help!

I could have submitted this to AskMe, but I figure I'm more likely to find lurking Songfighters with active forum accounts in this section.

Songfight's email problems prevent me from submitting the entry, and from contacting Songfight in any way to submit via alternative method. I can't post to the forum, because I'd just changed my account email address, which disabled my account until they manually reactivate it...which they haven't done in a week's time, I assume for reasons related to their email problems. I can't open a new forum account for the same reason (new accounts must be manually approved.)

What I need is someone with a working forum account to post my song link on my behalf (submitting as "Minty Handy" for the title "Sacred Coward", link will follow in the comments below) or if you have site admin "Lunkhead"'s personal contact info, ping him and let him know I'm trying to reach him (if so, I can PM you my personal contact info.)

Mods, if this isn't appropriate, feel free to delete it...I'm just doing my best not to disappoint my daughter by having the song un-submitted (she contributed backing vocals, a baby step into music for her, and has been asking daily if the song is up yet) so I thought I'd give this a try.

Nevermind folks, they finally activated my forum account. Mods, you can kill this if you like. :)
