Power of Love

Thanks to two class cancellations due to ice storms in the Capital, I was able to arrange and record this Valentine's day treat. Imagine Huey Lewis, baritone, with a banjo.

Also, I can't help but think about Patrick Bateman explaining how Huey Lewis has a more bitter, cynical sense of humor than Elvis Costello. I know, wrong movie. And this mental image is a good thing for me, sorta, just so you know.

I give you extra credit for your instrumentation choice.

I like your harmonica work.

Going to listen to your other stuff now.

You are an insane person. I love it. I'm envisioning a much more noirish Marty McFly walking down the sidewalk with one eye on the DeLorean and the other on Biff, feeling the cold hard angry lump of gun in his pocket and just thinking it out. Thinking it over.

And yeah, that harmonica, right outta nowhere, BAM!

Banjists unite.

hi,

that's pretty funny, nice, puzzling, eventually I'm sure I'll think to this as the original version.

thanks
