Received Wisdom

In the spirit of perpetually re-arranging and re-recording our songs, 'Received Wisdom' has now evolved into this rather sleek beast.

The original version was posted here 18 months ago and went down well - maybe there's even a second song in there waiting to get out another time.

More SV at our Bandcamp and now apparently on Spotify (or so I'm told). Comments welcome.

That was nice! I liked how in parts the guitar was a flanger-ey texture that would come in and out. Cool.

Thanks - the miracles of guitar synth pedals. I think this was recorded using a EHX Synth9, but I've since replaced that with the Boss SY-1. Lots of fun. The original version of the song kicks off with a sound created using one of the synth patches on the old Line 6 Pod HD500.
