Four Friends Mazurka
October 24, 2020 9:46 AM
A little mazurka that fell under my fingers a week or so ago. Thinking about my small circle of friends who have been supporting each other this year!
I never really knew the difference between mazurkas and waltzes until I started playing with trad musicians. I like the peppy feel and "lift" of this tune. Not the most pristine performance, but I ended up liking the little rough spots. Recorded with my 1940s Epiphone Blackstone, using my Zoom H5 as an audio interface into Reaper. plopped some eq, compression and reverb on it for grins.

Love the sound of the guitar, and the not-pristine performance adds charm. Very nice!
