I've always loved this song and thought it was one of the standout tracks on the (amazing) Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, and Yvonne Elliman's version is killer.
Recorded this on and off over the last month, trying to briefly forget that everything is awful and do some music again. Features electric and acoustic guitar, Moog, fake TR606 beats and lotsa echo and reverb. I fired up my old Tascam32 2-track for the first time in years and mixed down to 1/4" tape to try and add some...I don't know...something. I'm still learning.

Wow, so good! Great vibe throughout, love the synths. Love the intimate vocal quality as always, but part of is curious how this would sound if you really let it your voice rip at the end? Just a screaming chococat as the song fades.

Super cool take on the tune. The "small" beatbox works very well with the rest. I don't know the original, but I suspect I wouldn't like it as much as your version.

Really love it. Great sounds, great washy verb. And man, what melancholy.
And the synth! I bought myself a Behringer Moog clone over the summer ... it just makes such fun sounds. I was having a blast with it until I got too busy to do anything. Will need to give it a workout soon.
