This is my second pass (previously) at the Bach/Gounod “Ave Maria,” this time with acoustic guitar accompaniment. Video.

Aww the Bach bit is one my favorite pieces for piano that I learned as a kid. Sounds great on guitar, and in this context.

I had been working on the accompaniment off and on when I found a site with transposable chords. The version in C needed a bit of tweaking but allows the best arpeggios.

Beautifully performed. That level of coordinated voice and guitar control never ceases to amaze me.

Beautiful. I have played the piece more times than I can count in my career as a violist in various wedding string quartets... and never warmed up to it.

Your performance has made me a fan!
