A Song for Chester

The goal was too blend...

... digital and analog sounds, instruments, voices. The digital sounds - the percussion - were all made using Reason. Everything else is a real live human playing a real live instrument. I'm the guitar player, and for those of you of the nerd persuasion, I played a 1961 Epiphone Casino as the rhythm guitar and a Danocaster Singe Cut for the leads. Amplifier = 1964 Fender Deluxe Reverb.

I recorded this in fits and starts over the last few years, putting the finishing touches on during sessions for a forthcoming record that will be released imminently. The record, like this song, is all instrumental music which definitely isn't jazz.

I wanted to share this on Mefi as a way to contribute to such a wonderful community. That said, I'm also an independent artist looking to make my way, so if you are so inclined, pop on over to my profile, find me on socials, and give a brother a follow!
