At the beginning of 2019, one of my then-bands Buzzie began to record an album with Robert Harrison of Cotton Mather in the production chair.

We had a membership crisis, then a pandemic, and the band still exists in name only. John MacElhenny, the singer/songwriter eventually finished the album in late 2021, but has not released it. This is an almost-final mix of one of the stronger tracks. John is playing acoustic, Robert is playing everything else but drums and bass, and I'm on bass. I don't know the drummer's name - I never met him.

I learned this on a Thursday night, & recorded it along with a couple other songs, on that Saturday, in 3 or 4 takes. Robert pieced a comp of those takes together, which is literally me figuring out what works on the fly. My Thunderbird bass is yet again proving how marvelous and wonderful it is. After this session, he told me to just stop even bringing the Fenders.

Hey, I finally had the chance to listen to this with headphones. This is good solid but buoyant bass playing! And it's good to see you around in general.
