I unearthed the very first song I wrote in 1986 and flinched at all the clueless chord progressions my 14-year-old self used. But I could sense some potential behind a few of the ideas. So I reworked it extensively and brought out more of the subliminal inspiration that went into: mid-'80s Heart. [more inside]
Simple punk from HTI, circa spring of '85. We were kids and actually played a couple of shows with stuff like this. Go ahead and tell us how much we sucked 20 years ago. I played guitar and vocals and My Friend played bass. He was the only real musician there. This may be unlistenable (and rascist-we were influenced alot by the Sex Pistols) and this was pulled from early Sony vid cam recording.
