The latest release from our band. A sort of woozy, after hours lament for something lost.
We're trying to release a song a month this year and are kicking things off with 'Ten'. [more inside]
Unexpectedly optimistic instrumental. [more inside]
Digging back into some old ambient/noise/drone ideas. Synth, guitar, and bowed cymbal. [more inside]
Loops of slow disorienting guitar noises, and other sound wierdness. Sections fade in and out of one another, building and cresting. I picture it akin to an adult version of riding on Willy Wonka's fucked-up boat ride. [more inside]
A song by Bummed, a shoegaze-influenced band my friends and I have been working on. I'm on vocals! [more inside]
A track from my defunct band, Struction. Fast and loud. [more inside]
Another old one. It's a little rough, but enjoyable. Contains guitar, didgeridoo, part of some commercial, and small flammable animals. Bits were inspired by bagpipes and Albert Ayler.
3 guitar noise thing. [more inside]
I'm a piece of hell, burning like a champ. I'm in love with you. I don't know exactly what you're supposed to do about it. (it's a touch noisy) [more inside]
A collaboration with non-mefite Riadsala, who sometimes records bass for me. This is a pretty strange track, with a lot of effects going on, with a weirdish tempo change into the chorus which is backed by something in the vein of guitar shredding. [more inside]
This is a song i've been trying to put together for a year or two now. It uses my usual punk + x formula, where here, x = rawhide. The second half is big, noisy, and was tons of fun to make. I"m kinda fond of the lyrics Hope you enjoy. lyrics inside [more inside]
More noise rock from my defunct band, struction.
more well orchestrated crazy.
A track from my defunct band's unreleased full length. me- gtr, m. sonin- gtr/vox, d. zeidman- drums recorded spring 2006
Ever been in a french train station ? Recorded as I was coming back from playing with Edouard (whose amplified saxophone is included). NOISE 20 secs into the recording (that's for humannaire) - but it ends as smooth as usual (guitar outro). Bits of usual threatening, complaining, philosophing... in french (and english).
From Struction's yet to be released full length. Two guitars and drums.
My second band, Brevator, improvised this for a sound check while recording. We liked it so much we ended up keeping it.
My band, Struction, recorded this in the Spring.
An early (circa 1999) experiment with fuzzed out guitars and a super-compressed mix, pushing ambient towards industrial. Psycho-shoegazer?
cloeburner and I used to be in an improv noise rock band called cloeburner. When I listen to this song, I think of a majestic bald eagle, sinking slowly into a pool of lava and contemplating its own mortality. I hope you will, too.
Drifting across the waves. Some live experimental guitar ambience.
