I sat down to work on stuff for my art-rock band, but wound up demoing a Nashville-style country song in favor of gay marriage. I have no idea where this stuff comes from some times. [more inside]

Technically not a song performed by me, but a song done by 2 of my good friends which was tracked (mostly) and mixed by me. I'm posting this because I've got a 1:30 remix of the song I did, and I want to post that. I figured it'd be nice to have context.

Came up with the main theme while picking black raspberries (also known as blackcaps) on my landlord's property, and finished composing it while suffering from a subsequent bout of poison ivy-induced rash. All tracks recorded at once, normalized but unmixed since my computer lacks adequate power for multi-track recording.
