Some time ago micayetoca told me (it was here) to add some percussion to a song, even if it was just a jar of rice. Well, I've taken such a jar from the kitchen to play on spanish cakes. I've added cheap percussion too. Hope you like it. posted by nicolin at 8:24 AM on

I started commenting about the rice, which is really right on, but then the song picked up. This is a great jam. Oh, yea, the rice is perfectly subtle. posted by snsranch at 4:05 PM on

Yeah! Let's hear it for rice! Film canisters and plastic Easter egg shells are fun to put stuff in, too -- rice, sugar, ball-chains from bank pens...
That's a nice little fake ending about a minute in. posted by Karlos the Jackal at 4:39 PM on

I quite liked it. I felt like I was somehow invited to be part of it, if only I could find a jar of rice. posted by tehloki at 9:17 PM on

Thanks. I recorded the rhythm track years back and I looped it to build something upon it. The fake ending is just the end of the first cycle. Upon cycle 2, there is the guitar solo and some percussion. Cycle 3 allows a fade out. posted by nicolin at 2:48 AM on
